November 11 - 2018 at time 11.00 Her Royal Highness Queen Magrethe II of Denmark marked the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
About 6000 Danish soldiers were killed in a war where Denmark was neutral. However, the southern part of Jutland was annexed to Germany after the war in 1864.
Danish men were forced to serve German Emperor Wilhelm, even though they had no affiliation with Germany at all.
