Shootings and civilian killings have been recently going on in Southern Cameroon, reports journalist Solomon Amabo for IndieFrame on 29th of March 2019.

The Francophone majoritarian Govt. is using the army for 'minority cleansing' and repression in the area, in the aftermath of  the declaration of independence for state of Ambazonia by English-speaking minority back in October, 2017.

As a result, many have fled the country to Nigeria, who is now facing a refugee crisis. But the Southern Cameroonians that stayed despite the odds, are now literally hunted down. Fear of insurgence has led to heavy military operations,  targeting the male Anglophone population.
