World Cancer Day celebrated in photos from independent photographers

by Newsroom 2019-02-04 12:54:31

Each year on 4 February, World Cancer Day empowers people across the world to show support, raise collective voice, take personal action and press governments to do more.

At IndieFrame, independent photographers and smartphone reporters raise awareness on health and cancer through photos and videos all around the world, that need to be brought to media attention.

The theme for 2019 is "I am and I will" and we encourage everyone to share their photo-video materials on the theme. Here are some photos that already drew attention to our editorial team:

The IBCPC Dragon Boat Festival is held every four years under the auspices of the International Breast Cancer Paddler’s Commission. The Festival is an international non-competitive participatory event targeting Breast Cancer Survivors teams who engage in Dragon Boat activities as post-operative rehabilitation.
